Who Regulates in Spain?

Consultor Financiero Alfonso Santos is managed by International Financial Advisor Alejandro Alfonso Santos who is part of a regulated group based within the EU. We adhere strongly to the ethos of best advice and treating customers fairly. Our authorisation to advise on and arrange financial products in Spain and throughout the EU is 'passported' under EU freedom of services rules.

The main Spanish regulators are Direccion General de Seguros (DGS) and Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV). The DGS is chiefly concerned with insurance whereas the CNMV cover investments and securities. You should always check when taking professional financial advice that the adviser is regulated by a recognised entity and has the appropriate qualifications to give financial advice in your country of residence.
